Giving to the Library

Thank you for your interest in donating materials to the Library.

The library will accept donated books and other materials from individuals and organizations. Criteria for adding these items to the collection will be the same as for items that are purchased. If an item is not added to the collection, it may be given back to the donor, given away, or surplused. The library will not assess the value of donated items for tax purposes.

Donations that are most desirable are popular materials that have high demand and items that are not already held by the Library. All donated materials must be clean, odor free, and in good condition. If you would like to donate materials to the Library, please call the Circulation Desk at 423.354.2429.

All patrons wishing to donate items to the Library must fill out the Online Donation Form.
