Open Educational Resources (OERs): Using Library Resources

Using Library Resources in the Curriculum

Library resources can be used in the curriculum. While these resources are not defined as "Open" they can be embedded in the class and be used to lower textbook/materials costs.

Here are some ways you can use Library resources in the classroom:

  • Place physical items on reserve at the Library circulation desk - This allows students to come and use/view/checkout the items.
  • Add online Library resources in D2L - Link to articles and eBooks, and embed online videos.
