Based on your reading of Franklin D. Roosevelt's address to the American people in 1933 and this campaign speech by Herbert Hoover in 1932 as well as the textbook and Course Lectures, in an essay compare and contrast these two presidents' views regarding how the United States government should address the Great Depression. How do their approaches to this issue compare? Did they share any views regarding the United States?
