Reclaiming Our Past: The Truth about Tennessee will enhance student learning by providing a  modern perspective on Tennessee history and a balanced narrative with an emphasis on the contributions of underrepresented people who have been overlooked in, even omitted from, standard Tennessee history texts and curricula.
