Welcome to the Wayne G. Basler Library at Northeast State Community College
We value your input!
We encourage you to request materials for the collection by using the Suggest a Purchase option under QuickLinks on the Library’s website (http://www.northeaststate.edu/library).
If you cannot return Library materials to the Circulation Desk, you may use one of the two drop boxes on the Blountville campus.
If you are on another campus, you may return the materials to the front desk at Elizabethton or Gray, or to the Library & Student Resource Center at KCHE.
Please be sure that you leave the materials in a secure location, as you are responsible for them until they are checked in at the Library.
Type in keywords, titles, or authors to find what the library has to offer on your topic.
If you have a DOI or a PubMed ID (PMID), enter it here to begin your request. This will point you to immediate full-text access through our subscriptions or Open Access (if available).

Renewing:
You may renew materials through your library account (accessible from the Library’s website – go to the catalog), or by contacting the Circulation Desk at extension 3429 (or 354-2429).
In addition to the computers in the Learning Center, the Library has several computers on the second and third floors, as well as the database lab on the third floor (L302) for students to use.
All of these computers have word processing, Internet access, and copies of most of the programs that students use for classes on campus.
As a dual-enrolled student, you also have access to the computers at our other campuses. Go to the Campuses tab to learn about all of the Northeast State Campuses.
